Austria confirms federal SDEP responsibility, but provinces decide independently whether to implement and no province is expected to initially implement by 20 May 2026.

Implementation status
BMWET says it will establish the Single Digital Entry Point as the interface between online platforms and competent authorities.
The same page says no province will initially implement the STR Regulation as of the 20 May 2026 application date, although provinces may implement later.

No public source code, OpenAPI documentation, API portal, sandbox, or onboarding documentation is currently available.
The key technical watch item is whether a national SDEP appears before province opt-in, or only once provinces activate the regime.
