Member State detail
Lithuania short-term rental regulation and SDEP status
Lithuania has public accommodation-service notification rules and a National Tourism Information System direction for accommodation-provider and tourist data.
What this means
Lithuania requires providers of unclassified accommodation services to notify the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority within 10 working days of starting activity.
Public NTIS material says all accommodation-service providers must provide information on the people to whom accommodation services are provided.
Implementation status
Accommodation service providers include natural or legal persons offering short-term paid services under the accommodation NACE activities listed in NTIS guidance.
The notification rules cover unclassified accommodation such as private accommodation, holiday homes, rural tourism, hostels, and other categories.
Technical interface
The National Tourism Information System is a relevant accommodation and tourist-data infrastructure.
No Lithuania-specific Regulation 2024/1028 SDEP OpenAPI documentation, source code, sandbox, registration-number validation API, or platform onboarding process is currently available.
Future implementation may build on NTIS accommodation-provider and tourist-data reporting.
